The Young Harris College Alumni Office is now taking nominations/applications to create our Student Alumni Ambassador Program.  The mission of the Student Alumni Ambassador Program is to create stronger connections among Young Harris College alumni and current students.

The Student Alumni Ambassadors will do this by assisting the Office of Alumni Services at a variety of events throughout the year both on-campus and off-campus. The student ambassadors will help host events, welcome guests (including alumni, parents, perspective students, and friends of the college), and ensure that their visit is pleasant. Student Ambassadors will also participate on planning committees for Homecoming and Alumni Weekend.

This prestigious group of students will represent Young Harris College and will be given the opportunity to meet, interact and network with YHC alumni and dignitaries. We need student ambassadors to help communicate the current YHC spirit to our alumni and perspective students.

An applicant for this program should be dedicated, reliable and relatively comfortable speaking with strangers.  Please visit YHC Connect to complete the application and return it to the Office of Alumni Services by Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Those applicants who are asked to continue in the selection process will be contacted by phone and scheduled for an interview by Monday, September 20, 2010. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Alumni Services at 706-379-5334 or email to ddensley@yhc.edu . I hope to hear from you soon.
